Smith’s Gardentown Named to Top 100 in U.S. for Fourth Year

For the fourth consecutive year, Smith’s Gardentown of Wichita Falls has been named to the Top 100 Garden Centers in America by Garden Center magazine. Smith’s moved up from #86 in 2018 to #79 for 2019.

“This is a great achievement for our employees and our loyal customers in Texoma,” said Steve Smith, co-owner.

“Most of the garden centers that rank ahead of us have multiple locations and are located in large metropolitan areas. For our single location in a city the size of Wichita Falls to make this list is really pretty amazing,” he said.

Smith’s Gardentown is celebrating its 70h year in business in Wichita Falls.

“The business was started by our grandfather, C.O. Smith, and our father, Curtis W. Smith,” Katherine said. “We are proud to continue to offer quality service and products to our long-time customers and newcomers alike.”

Smith’s is a full-service garden center featuring bedding plants grown on its premises, as well as a large selection of trees, shrubs, fertilizers and garden accessories. A Wild Birds Unlimited bird feeding franchise store is located inside the garden center, and now stone and bulk sand and gravel products are available for pickup or delivery.
